Ok, here is the scenario. AXP322, plus the BT keyboard.
I hit the knob twice to get to the transponder (OK, with 10.2 it will be one key), and then I need to put in the transponder code. It seems that the only way to get the input dialog up, is by a touch on the touchscreen. Not hard to do, but not very friendly in bumps, and would be much nicer if some key on the BT keyboard could activate that dialog field for me. Perhaps there already is, in which case I'm all ears, or maybe 10.2 will address this. But, if not, can you please allow some way of opening the remote transponder code input dialog from the BT keyboard. * Orest |

I agree. I have the transponder configured in the top left, which is small. Pressing that block is sometimes tricky.
Perhaps pressing the lower right knob when the transponder block is selected could open the keyboard for input.

When using a keyboard, it would be logical to add a SECOND push of the transponder key, when already in the transponder group, to bring up the transponder code dialog.
That steps around the issue of what display group has "focus" for cursor commands. * Orest Edited by oskrypuch - 01 May 2016 at 1:24pm |

With Rel 10.2, pressing the transponder key on the Bluetooth keyboard pops up the transponder virtual keyboard on the IFD. At that point you can either use the virtual keyboard to type in your code or the remote Bluetooth one.

And I just use the IFD100 personally to do it.
