Does anyone have one of these installed and running? I don't recall seeing any reviews here or in the normal print-media places but I might've missed one...

I have an AXP340 installed in my aircraft, and it works just fine. I had a Garmin 327 previously and the 340 works just the same from a user perspective - key in the assigned code and you're all set, press the VFR key when done. It has a nice timer function and an altitude alert which is nice.
I had an FAA report of the ADS-b output from my setup IFD540/AXP340, and the report came back all green lights. On another form, it appears that approximately 70% of the Garmin installs noted in the thread failed the FAA test and required further action by the user/avionics installation shop.

Since the 340 isn't a slide-in replacement for the Garmin, I'd be interested to know how the install went. I have the same Garmin and this would be my preferred way to get the ADS-B out requirement dealt with.

I speced this out with my shop. They said that it is just a matter of punching down new connections, no need to change harnesses, except perhaps adding a data line between the 540 & 340. I already have one from the 330 install, probably most folks do as well.
So, no need to dismantle the panel, maybe half a day's work, and good trade in value on the 330.
