So do we have any progress on this?
Also, any idea other than SysVis, what features will be included? I understand that the following are there: a) An indication on the MDF of the "feet above ground level" great for us CAPS folks,
b) Better refresh on the graphics - great! My other thoughts: 1) Lets get the "labels" back for the B/C airspace. It was in the R7 system, and it's on the setup screen on R9 but the curser skips over it. 2) Lets get a screen like the perspective where we can see & change the Sirrus Radio stations, how hard can that be to make happen? That's it, and still I love the R9, a very cool system. Thanks, Russ

Russ,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Mike Ingram, the previous R9 Product Manager has left Avidyne. I'm the new Product Manager for R9. We had been on track for completion of R9.3 this spring. However, it looks like it may be slipping to the right. R9.3 TSO and the associated Cirrus and Matrix STC amendments are the top priority at Avidyne right now and are internally required before we can complete the IFD540, which you may have heard about. As you know, the biggest change in R9.3 is adding Synthetic Vision. There are a number of other smaller changes we are including, but I'd rather not list them until they are all through the FAA approval process. Labels for B/C airspace and radio station selection are both in our feature request database, but unfortunately they are not going to be in R9.3. I totally agree about the utility of those two items! Happy flying R9! -Ted

Ted,
Where do we stand on 9.3, SynVis, or any other new software upgrades. I have not had one in over 2 years, I think. Thanks

I am taking the Cirrus in for CAPS redo, and shop is also an Avidyne dealer. Any chance 9.3 is ready to install. Hate to say how long I have waited!
