I have version 10.2.4.1 and did not have the Synthetic Vision Tab on the Map screen when I went flying today with the iPad connected to the IFD440.

You must have the F500 option enabled to get the SVS tab. I suspect it is not. That option is standard, so contact tech support and they'll set you up with a DSF.

I called Tech Support. My iPad showed it was set up for an IFD550 so I switched it to 440. Verified with support that IFD100 and the panel mount both have the current database. Verified panel mount had good GPS reception. Still no Synthetic Vision Tab. So he suggested I delete the IFD100 app and re-install. Still no luck. This is on the very first generation iPad so I don’t know if that is the cause.
What is the F500 option?

Sorry, I didn't notice this was in the IFD100 forum. F500 is an option on the IFD. Is that option enabled on your IFD? Look on the main system page (AUX-SYS-Software)
