Updated our IFD440 and IFD100 apps to 10.3.2.2. I get a pretty constant "Acquired Host Settings - Restart IFD100 to align settings with host IFD." Also after a couple of minutes a pretty constant flicker with the Bluetooth/Wifi/GPS indicators and eventually some GPS errors.
10.3.1.2 was pretty solid here so not sure what is happening with 10.3.2.2. The connection between the IFD and IFD100 app has been pretty shaky the entire time with 10.3.2.2. I have also purged all Avidyne apps on my iPad and reinstalled ONLY the IFD100 app. https://photos.app.goo.gl/1yJWYbvfv3fAS9Zd9 Thank you, Jared

Hi Jared,
Your description and video are tremendously helpful. And, after looking at the code, I think I've found the issue with the IFD100's Restart message.
I suspect your IFD440 does not have CrossSync enabled, nor need it be if you're not running two IFDs. However, the IFD100 is stubbornly expecting it to be on. We're going fix that. Before an IFD100 update is released (which could be later this week), you could enable CrossSync. I bet that would lead to the IFD100 behaving as you'd expect.
Here's my interpretation of what's happening in the video:
Even with the message displayed, I believe that your IFD440 and IFD100 should play well together. And, again, in the short term you can enable CrossSync for the IFD400, which should lead to the removal of the message. In any case, later this week I think we'll have applied the fix, submitted the update to Apple, and have had Apple approve it for distribution.
I'll post here again once the update has been submitted to Apple. And I'll post again when the IFD100 app is available on the App Store.
Separately, we'll be looking into your reported Bluetooth/WiFi/GPS indicator flicker.
Thank you for the information. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Gary, Glad it was helpful! I can't say for sure that CrossSync is disabled but I'm at least "mostly sure" that it is since we just have the one IFD and a GNS430 as secondary. If I can get out to the hangar this week I'll turn on CrossSync and see if that clears things up. Or if you all have a release out by then I can check it out as well. Thank you!

Versions 2025.10 for IFD100 and IFD Trainer have been submitted to Apple for review. The fix to the IFD100 restart message is included. Based on typical Apple review times, the versions are likely to be available for release on Friday or Saturday.

I found when disabling CrossSync during configuration setup and booting up after, CrossSync would automatically enable itself. Happened a few times but ended up getting it to stay off after a few tries
