The iPadOS setting, “Share With App Developers”, allows Apple to share anonymized and aggregated data with developers (like Avidyne) for their apps, like IFD Trainer and IFD100. If you enable this setting, we get the following categories of data:
These details are particularly helpful for crashes. Depending on the type of crash, we may be able to immediately see the line in the code where the crash occurred. Here's an example:
The setting is configured in the Settings app > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Share with App Developers, shown here: Before data is shared via Apple, your iPad must be connected to WiFi and connected to power. TLDR. Enable “Share with App Developers” on your iPad in order to help Avidyne more immediately troubleshoot app crashes. |
