FYI, there is a known bug with 10.3.2.2 that prevents some CAS messages from being acknowledged. It will only affect dual IFD installations. We plan to release a fix before the end of the year. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I would like to know if Avi plans to cover the cost of updates for this. I paid a few hundred bucks to my avionics shop to upgrade my two IFD440s, and I don't love the idea of having to pay again just for a bug fix. (And yes, I know I can have any A&P install, which is great as long as everything goes well; I like having a dealer do it for those occasions when it doesn't.)

Is it possible to get a list of the known missing CAS messages?

I don't have that answer at this point, but I/we understand. I'll post back when those details have been worked out.

It's not that messages are missing. It's that they appear and you may not be able to get rid of them. The bubble goes away, but the message stays active in the background. I'll get a list together in the next several days and add them to this post.

Any update on a possible fix for this? I believe I saw a mention of one being planned for release by the end of the year.

+1 on looking for an update.
Given that 10.3.2.2 still isn't GA, does Avidyne plan to go directly to 10.3.2.2.1 (or whatever to fix this bug) with the next GA release? There are certainly a lot of us that waiting for 10.3.2.... to go GA so that a long-overdue can be made. |

We have been working on 10.3.3.2 that fixes this bug. The goal was to have it ready by end of 2025, but we're not going to hit that. Formal test for certification will start in January.

Just checking if there has been any progress on a fix for this bug?

Progress, yes. Is it released yet? No.
I was on a test flight a few weeks ago and we found a couple of other corner cases (for CAS messages) we needed to fix before release. We've also received several reports of difficulty installing 10.3.2.2, so we've been working on making the loader more robust.

Hi Steve,
I have a dual IFD 540 set up with Aspen PFD and MFD. I am upgrading to the Aspen MAX, with the plane going to the shop next week. My IFDs are currently running 10.2.1.0.A and I have 2 questions: 1. When will the 10.3.2.2 bug fix be released? 2. If this fix is not available, what IFD software version should I install, if any? Thanks! Fritz
