My annual is coming up and I'd like to pre-wire in top and bottom antennas for the MLB-100.  It looks you use standard blade-type DME/transponder antennas.

1. I will probably take out my King DME when I put in the 540.  Can I just use the blade DME antenna as is (on bottom of aircraft)?

2. For dual antennas, do you just use a coax T connector to tie them together?

Thanks!

Probably Steve is busy answering IFD540 issue questions.
The MLB100 brochure shows only one RF antenna connector and the suggested price of the unit
likely means that it will not have two antenna diversity reception (top and bottom).  It makes sense to reuse the DME bottom antenna for ADS-B IN reception.
