Avidyne Joins with Trego-Dugan Aviation to Develop AML-STC of AXP340 Mode S Transponder

Trego-Dugan to complete the first AML-STC of Avidyne’s AXP340 Mode S Transponder with a Freeflight 1201 WAAS/GPS for ADS-B OUT.

Not that I know of. When Trego-Dugan approached us last year asking if we'd support this, we said yes. We gave them all supporting AXP340 data that they could use to pursue that STC but it was all their effort to do so. I haven't heard if they ever finished that effort but I don't *think* they did.

Our impending ADS-B cert of the AXP340 does include instructions for folks to add other navigators/GPS sources as valid and approved sources so even if the Trego-Dugan effort never finished, there will be a relatively easy path for folks to add new position sources.
