An unanticipated situation, the lower
left control knob on the IFD540 blocks the pilot's view of the
active frequency on the SL-30 radio. This may be a factor with other avionics. If you are going from a 530 -> 540 in place, then you will probably be OK, but we went from a 430 + spacer -> 540. To fix this I will swap the SL-30 and
AXP340. That is a bit of labor to pull the cage and redo it, so be aware. * Orest |
