Does anyone know whether it will be possible to draft a checklist on a computer to load into the IFD540? I know you can back them up from the device onto a USB stick. So, naturally I am curious whether you can use some sort of simple application on a PC to write them and then save to the USB. Even with the keyboard on the screen, I imagine that would be much faster.

No, no such capability yet. We're getting much closer to that functionality with Rel 10.1 which will come out in a few months.
