Just saw the IFD540 webinar. If you haven't seen it, you should. Quite a product, with teasers about what may be there but not in release 1, incl WiFi and BT. Hats off to Steve and Avidyne on this one. Like it so much I am buying more Avidyne technology. ------------- David Gates |

Thank you all for hanging in there. I'll only be checking these threads periodically since I'm on a family vacation for a few days so don't fret periods of silence on our end. And yes, the list price will hold. Those who pre-bought received a substantial discount and we have every intention of honoring that early mover advantage. It isn't going to make Avidyne wealthy, but because of your transparency, I today bought a traffic system to go with the MFDs "while we are at it". I think the TAS605 with the transponder and MFDs is going to give me great SA. I think the TAS will display both on my 540s and my Aspens. Enjoy your time off, Steve. ------------- David Gates |

A copy of the STC is available on the dealer site. I suspect we'll make that available for everybody but for now, at least the folks (Avidyne dealers/installers) should be able to reach it through their normal means. ------------- Steve Jacobson sjacobson@avidyne.com |
