I hate it when there is no noise here... whether it is positive or negative I guess reading about fellow buyer's opinions keeps me engaged and optimistic. I now know why Steve waited to distribute the sim until now, flying it often (like every day) certainly does not satisfy my desire to have the 540 in my airplane. Tomorrow is the first day of the last month of Q2, is Q3 a possibility...

Hey, you can't take a month away from us in the end game! Q2 ends on 30 June and we're on track for that.

I'll post an update to the end game tasks in the next day or two.

Tony,

Apologies for forgetting to answer. We've just made changes to the iPad app to comply with Apple store curating policies. We *think* we're done with that but.....

We've broken the app into two apps for the initial release - Americas and Rest of World. Each are giant apps (like the Rest of World is almost 2 GB due to the databases and therefore at the max app size limit and likely to take up a large percentage of a customer's ipad storage capacity). We're going to go forward with that for first release but are looking at ways to put the large database stuff off-board/off-app on a later release.

So, the only thing we're waiting for now is an updated iOS 7 compatible Charts library from Jepp and then we'll submit to the Apple Store for final curation. We *think* that final curation approval cycle will take about 3 weeks.

I'll post an update to that schedule estimate as soon as we get and integrate the Jepp library into the app.

Good timing ..... as of last night it's in the hands of the Apple Store curators now. We're in wait mode. We understand typical wait times are 2-3 weeks before we hear thumbs up, or "dude, we have a problem".

"Avidyne IFD Am" for the Americas version and "Avidyne IFD Intl" for the rest of world version.
