I have recently had a Skytrax 200 installed.  It has become a debacle beyond belief.  First off when first installed, the tech pulled the IFD 440 out to check pins.  When he put it back in a D-Sub got crunched and shorted out a bunch of pins.  Knocked out the entire Com section.  Took months to get that taken care of.

The AXP 340 throws the "NO ADSB DATA" flag.  This NEVER used to happen prior to the installation of the 200.

The issues that I have are now that the Skytrax is installed the IFD 440 sees MY aircraft as traffic and paints it as a yellow target with 00 next to it.  I get constant traffic alerts triggered by seeing my aircraft as the threat.  The NO TIS-B flag is ON permanently in highly congested airspace with plenty of ground stations available.  Prior to the installation that flag would come on when you would assume that it would - in mountainous and/or remote areas.  Now it is on all the time.

No one at Avidyne has come up with a solution that works, and quite frankly I feel like I am getting the brush off.

So far the Skytrax 200 has been a colossal waste of time, money and energy.  It has netted me absolutely zero at this point in time, and has only implemented issues that I did not previously have.

This has been going on for 4 months.

If anyone can shed some light on these issued or be of any assistance it would be greatly appreciated.
