I know that the IFD units can accept and display ADS-B in data from the Garmin GTX345. My question is if I connect only to the IFD's WiFi and I enable the retransmit of the ADS-B information in the profile page, does the IFD convert and transmit the the ADS-B data received from the transponder as GDL-90 over WiFi?

I believe Garmin uses GDL-89 over bluetooth.

I've got an IFD540 and a GTX345.

Yes, it re-transmits over wifi. Works great from foreflight.

What profile page do you mean, when you say "I enable the retransmit of the ADS-B information in the profile page"?

The combination also works fine with FlyQ.
