I am soon to have dual IFD440s installed and given they can work together, was thinking a feature that combined the two displays into a single virtual map would be a nice addition. I understand that the bezel and buttons would make it non-continuous but I think the situational awareness would be amazing. I would imagine in this mode that the bottom IFD440 have your position with the top IFD440 providing the look-ahead. Basically, the top map would be panned forward and anchored to the end of the bottom map.
