Has anyone else seen this and how did you fix it? On our IFD 440 when building or updating a flight plan or selecting direct to, if we type in KABE (our home airport) we are given 2 choices. One is the actual airport and the other is about 25NM away.

Check if you have a user defined waypoint named KABE.

Thanks Bob, I will do that, but for some reason I thought user defined waypoints had to contain 5 alpha numeric characters. Is that not true?

Waypoint names can be up to 5 characters, but I don't believe that is a mandatory constraint.
