When I go to user options I select with the inner lower right knob the option I want to change.

But then how do I change it?

I pressed the right button lower button, and nothing, pressed enter and nothing, pressed with my finger the option I wanted to change and nothing either.

Note, that some options cannot be changed under some circumstances.

But, positioning the cursor on the option of interest with the large knob, and then using the smaller knob, you can edit/change the value of the field.
