I have an IFD 540 and 440, Recently was flying on a hour flight, 1/2 into the flight i noticed I lost GPS signal on the 540 and consequently nav and shortly thereafter the remote transponder. the 440 is working fine. I am assuming the lost transponder was because of the lost GPS signal. This condition will rectify itself after shutdown/restart but soon after repeats the issue while taxiing . Yesterday while on the ground I hooked up to ground power and sat there for 30 minutes without it failing so it seems it has something to do with the plane running? Anyone have any ideas?

I did send the logs to Avi but have not heard anything back yet..
