Has anyone experienced an uncommanded standby/active swap? I've experienced this now three times, and always just after landing. Once was still on the runway and the other times not sure but latest shortly after clearing the runway.

I have a swap switch on the yoke, and will be investigating a possible short in that connection. But the timing is suspicious so I though I'd ask if anyone else has seen this. It is very disturbing because one doesn't notice/expect it and I missed a communication on the ground last week as a result.

Do you use the IFD100? IIRC, there were some reported issues earlier on.

If not, I would think it would almost certainly be a shorting connection on the switch.

Thanks Orest. Good to hear another opinion.

No, I don't (yet) use the IFD100. I'm a heavy KB user but with FF already on my ipad, I don't see a real advantage for the IFD100 especially since I have a FF Jepp subscription and no Jepp charts available on the IFD100. But that's a different discussion.

I had some mysterious behavior for a short time, until I realized that my knee was pushing buttons on the remote keyboard after I tucked it back into the door side pocket without flipping the switch to "off".  (Not sure you can swap freqs from the keyboard, though.)

Oh, yes you can. I use that all the time.
