I ordered a T-shirt the other day and was expecting it yesterday. When I went to the mailbox, I was surprised to see *two* squishy-feeling envelopes… one with a return address from Avidyne.

Inside was a nice note thanking me for being an Avidyne Insider, along with a kelly-green shirt.

For those of you with long memories, you may recall that the shirts were a promised tchotchke for customers who bought in… 2013, maybe? I can't remember exactly. I preordered my 540 in 2012, signed up for the shirt whenever it was offered, then took delivery in 2016, and got the shirt yesterday. I am not 100% sure when I signed up for it, but it's nice to see the followthrough irrespective of the latency.

I got my shirt yesterday too! I registered for Avidyne Insider not that long ago. It looks like a good quality T-shirt.

I thought we had signed up for that too - it seems like many years ago now. I'd forgotten all about them. Is there any way to check on it?

I went to the website and suggested above and registered for a shirt. This seems to be a separate deal from the one we signed up for five or so years ago.

I just signed on. I’m looking for an ADSB in solution that talks to my Aspen 1500 and Avidyne 540. It would be nice if I could fling this info to an iPad within having to carry a Stratus/(x). I’d really like to have everything on the ship’s power.

Well, Avidyne is now direct selling the Freeflight ADS-B IN unit. It talks to ASPEN, and of course to the IFDs, and it does have WiFi for tablets.

The Lynx would be another.
