I finally got around to getting my plane in the shop for the latest software update. Everything seemed to go well, but my iPad wasn’t picking up the WiFi. After landing I perused the settings and I no longer have a network page in the config menu. In the manual, the pictures show it to be page 12/13, but when scrolling through, I only have 12 pages and Network Configuration isn’t one of them. I called the shop and am still waiting on word back, but I figured I would cast a wider net and post here as well.

Also, I don’t have the SVS tab on the map display. Not sure how to navigate to SVS but so far I have been unable to locate it. On the software version page under the options area, SVS is highlighted green (nothing else is) but it’s not showing up anywhere for me to utilize it. I appreciate all the help and am looking forward to putting some hours behind the new update since my fleet at work is currently grounded.

Take care!

Sounds like you lost some options during the update.  Look on the AUX-SYS page.  For Wifi to work, the ENET option should be highlighted.  For the SVS tab on MAP, F500 should be highlighted.  If your IFD doesn't show those options, either you or the shop can call tech support to get those enabled.

Wondering why my IFD540 on wifi out to my iPad mini5 shows “Avidyne minimal signal” with using Foreflight? Also I’m wondering why Foreflight isn’t tracking the map while under the IFD540 wifi signal?
Just need some help with fixing this please. Thank you

I'm not familiar with that message in Foreflight.  Sounds like maybe the iPad isn't getting a strong signal from the IFD, but I can't be sure.  So much depends on your configuration.  Are you trying to use the IFD in local mode or remote?  Are there other Wifi generating devices in the airplane that could be causing interference?

Hi, the iPad is logged into the IFD540 wifi “Lio_wifi” and sorry but I’m not sure what you mean by local or remote? There is another wifi from the Lynx NGT9000 also. I’m new to all this avionics equipment and greatly appreciate all your help. Thanks

if you have the Lynx wired to the IFD, you might consider turning off the Lynx WiFi. The IFD's WiFi is much more reliable than the Lynx'. The IFD will send the ADS-B traffic and weather it receives from the Lynx to Foreflight.

I am not familiar enough with the Lynx, but there should be instruction in the user manual about how to enable/disable WiFi.
