I just got my plane back form the IFD540 and APX322 install and want to transport the setup I have in the simulator to the airplane.

I know there is a way to do it in the maintenance mode of the sim but not sure.  I could use some help.

There is a thread on this forum that talks pretty extensively about this. Be careful, we tried that and setup info from the sim was transferred, totaled screwed up our 540. I believe you have to transfer your 540 settings to the sim first and then you can transfer changed sim settings back to your airplane.

A lot of discussion here: http://forums.avidyne.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=788&title=ifd-540-440-uploads

It takes two minutes to write down what you have in the sim ? Three or four minutes to put that into the 540 ? Why risk causing issues.

I took some quick pics of my main and setup screens, and keep them in Evernote, just in case. Plus, I always have that data to refer to, even if not in the plane.
