Trying to load 10.1.1.0 in 1 of 2 units with my local A&P and it keeps coming up with the following message. Selected "Upload VHF DSP Loader to 9S12 - Exceeded maximum. We are following the Service Bulletin instructions and 10.1.0.0 was previously installed by Avidyne.

I hit that during upgrade.

Make sure VHF portion of the IFD is powered up.

Our issue was the IFD was on the bench and did not have the VHF portion of my IFD540 powered up

Exactly.  If the VHF is not powered, this will happen.

We had it in a docking station. Thought I'd be smart and comfortable by doing it in a comfy warm and roomy office. I figured it might need to be in the aircraft so back in and it continued and then stopped again. Dug the airplane out of the back of the hangar and out in clear view of the sky and off and running again. Finished without a problem. The other airplane will be much easier.
