Is there a alternative method to load into the 540 or edit off line such as at our computer and store it back onto the USB stick for uploading into the unit your checklists ?
Seems like it wold be a much better way of editing checklists at your computer then at the touch screen, can be done but really tim consuming.

Thanks, it seems that editing offline is the way to go. Maybe need a area to show how many characters are left for that line or item. Similar to what Twitter has on their app.
