Can you create a toggle in the maintenance menu to have the real time light "value" and the dimbus and photo inputs displayed on the screen? I know you have that information in the maintenance menu itself, but it would be nice to have that information on the screen when you are viewing the map page.

One other thought. A user has very easy access to the maintenance menu, and could inadvertently muck things up when doing a database update. Perhaps you should seclude the maintenance screens behind a second confirmation, you can look, but can't change, unless you go through a short dialog.

No, please don't make it more difficult or lock the configuration settings.

Do not mistake my request as asking to restrict access to the config settings.

My thought was just a separate group of pages with a warning before you proceed, but you are still free to proceed if you wish. Currently if you select database update and there is no USB key inserted, you land right on the first page of the config pages. An unknowing individual could really mess up their settings.

And actually, the first time I tried a database update, I did not have a USB key inserted initially, and I ended up confused by ending up on the maintenance setup page, not a database update page. Sure, it is just a tab over, but first time it took a couple of tries to find it.

Come to think of it, all that you would need is to create a DataBlock item that lists this information! And, with the multiple custom pages coming up, it would be simple to select a "dimmer setup" block arrangement.

I'll add that idea to the candidate database.

One note reference the 11:31pm post from Orest two entries above this one, one of the changes coming in Rel 10.1 is that the Mx Mode first page is now context sensitive.  In other words, if you pressed the "Update Databases" line select key, that's the tab that Mx Mode will wake up in.  If you pressed the "Download Logs" line select key, then that's the tab that Mx Mode will wake up in.   You will have to take some extra button presses to get to the Configuration tab.

Ah, that is good, from the perspective of a new user - which hopefully there will soon be a lot of.
