Unfortunately I couldn't find anything using the search function.

I use two IFDs in my Bonanza.

Is it possible to make entries with 2 keyboards on both devices?

So one for the pilot and one for the co-pilot.
EASA registered Beech Bonanza F33A located in EDKB Hangelar/Germany, Aspen 1000 EFD, 2 x IFD540

The latest Bluetooth specification, if implemented on the IFD, does allow up to 7 devices to be connected, but not if they conflict. Only one input device of any type (keyboard, mouse) can be active at a time.

From a practical standpoint, how would any receiving device know which input to accept if both keyboards are active? But if Avidyne has figured that out, it would be interesting to know how! :)

You can use two keyboards, but one of the keyboards has to be paired with IFD#1 and the other keyboard has to be paired with IFD#2.

Has the issue been resolved yet where the new IFD’s that are being shipped out currently won’t pair with the keyboard that comes with IFD?

Thanks, Frank

We're still trying to figure that one out.  The most recent keyboards we received from the supplier/manufacturer aren't exactly the same as the original ones and ended up not being compatible with the bluetooth driver in the IFD.
