10.2.3.1 Update failed

Hey guys, I tried to update my 540 from 10.2.2 to 10.2.3.1 yesterday. 

Started update fine, watched it for awhile to see it loading, but when I came back an hour later had message that said update failed. Left USB drive in, rebooted to maintenance mode, and it showed s/w version 10.2.3.1, but I found the red checksums in pic below.

Should I try to run update again with a fresh download/flash drive, do a manual 'resume' update procedure with a create Gold Master selection, or is it a for sure internal CF reformat?

I think those are questions that would be best answered by Avidyne Tech Support.

Absolutely, DON'T DO ANYTHING before calling Tech Support. I think that is noted in the install docs as well.

At the time that this major update was released, a number of pilots and dealers had issues, and at the time there were posted a couple of help videos from Avi.  One of those videos addressed an issue which came up in my update.  Have you looked at those?  They were on the Avi website; otherwise, yes, tech support is your friend.

Thanks ddgates, I didn't see these. My condition was consistent with one of the links that suggest a full format of thumb drive and re-update as possible resolution.

Speaking of that, I'm not receiving notices of updates, or SBs for that matter. In fact, I can't remember if I ever did.

Do you guys get notice by email? Sure would be nice to get a ping for those Service Bulletins and new updates.

Glad to be able to help!  Video solved my install issue when it happened.

I don't think any of us get email notifications, not like Textron anyway.

The crew on this interactive board do a good job around new issues, updates, and any other happenings.
