Can one of the RS232 outputs from the ACK 30.9 be parallel. I think I need three outputs. One for SkyTrax. One for IFD 550 to output to the AXP322 and another for the 550 to send to the EX 5000

Mike, RS232 by definition is serial.  The 30.9 is capable of outputting on two RS232 ports and one Parallel (gray code) bus.  I'd probably stay away from the gray code bus since it outputs altitude on 100' increments only, whereas either serial bus will output to 10' resolution.

You could use the ACK 30.9 RS232-1 bus to send BARO ALT to the 322, and its RS232-2 bus to send BARO ALT to the IFD550, and then let the 550 with its five serial buses output BARO ALT to whoever else needs it.
