That is in the setting of ASPEN + IFD?

That is a not bad suggestion, if the IFD goes TD, at least you have something.

So I had a flight plan entered, went to Procedures and added an RNAV 33 approach.  I activated the approach and the Avidyne 540 highlighted the IAF and displayed Direct to it.  The Avidyne map also displayed the approach but the Aspen Max did not update. It still showed the last fix I was navigating to. I waited for a full minute and then deleted the approach and re-entered.  This came up on the Aspen immediately.

I have a STEC 30 autopilot (not on at the time) but it has the little computer box that is needed to interface with the IFD, so I believe the speed has to be on Low, however, this delay was abnormally long and wondering if there are any updates to address this  (i.e. 10.3)

Can you reproduce this behavior every time you execute those same exact steps?
