Last night I got a clearance which was essentially KSGS -> MKT/283/21 -> KTKC; that is, direct from KSGS to the Mankato VOR 283ยบ Radial at 21nm, then direct Tracy MN.    I entered this by creating a custom waypoint for the fix off the Mankato VOR and flew the flight normally.

I'm wondering if there is an easier way to enter such a fix rather than create a custom waypoint.   I don't think so after searching through the pilot's guide, but thought perhaps I missed it or there was something new in 10.2.

Anyone?

A long time ago I put in a suggestion to add the ability to quick add fixes like that, similar as how you do it in a Honeywell FMS.

Crossing radials:
JFK190/CYN100

rad/dist:
JFK190/25

5nm before a waypoint (eg. HOPCE) already in the flightplan:
HOPCE/-5

lat/long, N 47.0, W 080.0
N470W0800

No action on this that I've seen.
