I was flying yesterday, and the controller asked me to give best rate to 8000'. I noticed on my PFD speed tape both Vg and Vx, but no Vy.

I took a look at the PFD manual, and it says the values are calculated based on air data, and that Vx and Vy are displayed at "high" power settings, while Vx and Vg are displayed at "low" power settings. Can you tell me what constitutes "high" versus "low"? My SR-20 was at full power at 8000', but displayed ~62% on the MFD. At that altitude, I suspect Vx, Vy, and Vg are all very close to the same value, but I was just surprised not to see Vy.
