Is there any way to download GPS data of a flight onto the USB drive? (Ideally, in KML format or some format that can be imported into Google Earth)?

TJ,
Yes, if you plug in your USB drive into the USB port on the IFD and start up the IFD then there will be a screen that steps you though downloading. You'll want the Flight logs but you could get the other logs, if you're interested. You can upload R9 data to www.cirrusreports.com and export to KML format to show in Google Earth. I haven't done this part of it before but I've heard it being done. - Mike |
