I was given a ship date of Feb 2nd. My shop and I haven't heard anything.
I sent an email and it appears that no one can confirm the shipment. I believe I am the last pre-buy. This is the seventh month of my fifth month delivery. Any help?

I have just been notified that the ship date of February 2nd was missed due to
lack of parts. I am told to check back in another week.

Is there a parts source problem? Two weeks wait and no response. Will someone please
tell me what is going on? The avionics shop has dropped me from the install schedule. This is the third attempt at getting a response on the forum. |

We did not perform up to standards on this one with respect to communication.
One of our suppliers for a key part ran into an issue a few weeks ago. This meant that we ran out of fully assembled IFDs a week or two after that and approximately 30 folks were affected. The supplier managed to fix their issue and delivered a large quantity of the missing part this past Wed. The Avidyne factory went immediately into overdrive to catch up. The affected folks should all get a phone call this week to update expected delivery date of their unit(s). |
