Sim error: Datalink Data Not Rcvd

   I am running the IFD540 sim on an Intel i7-based Windows 8.1 Pro machine.
At first, the sim works as expected an all of the supplemental weather and traffic data are received.  However, after 15-25 minutes or so (haven't really timed it, but it's pretty consistent), the AUX button will flash cyan and a "Datalink Data Not Rcvd" cyan alert will appear in the lower right corner of the display.  Going to the AUX>Alert page finds this advisory:  "Broadcast products not received:  METARs, TAFs, US WxRadar, ..." (btw, how do you get that field to expand so you can read the whole message?).

Once the datalink breaks, it never comes back.

Quitting and restarting the sim will restore the datalink...for about 20 min again.

Anyone else having this issue?
