The back lighting on the unit seems very bright at night. Seems like the AUTO function is not picking up ambient light.
Switched to DIMBUS, didnt work either.

Something sounds definitely wrong.

Can you take a snapshot of the Lighting setup page in Mx Mode and send it to me or Avidyne Tech Support?

Here is an example of the page I'm talking about.

It would be appreciated if you could report the results, and the setup parameters that eventually seem to work well, here on AvidyneLive. We have had a similar issue with my Dad's IFD540, and planned to go into the MX page and tweak the settings, but have not yet done so. Thanks.
