Avidyne SIL # 606-00182-001 mentions a hardware Mod 2 if the OBS calibration error is excessive.
Should this hardware Mod be performed on all units currently in the field or only on a case by case basis? Is Avidyne currently incorporating this hardware change on all newer production units?

I am not on a mailing list for the Avidyne SILs. I spotted this SIL on the Avidyne.com web site under Support, then Downloads & documentation.

Avidyne recommends the mod be applied to any units in the field that exhibit the behavior as described in the SIL. And we have cut the mod into production.
If you have a question whether you have HW mod 2 or not, call or send a note to Avidyne Tech Support and they should be able to look that up, even if you don't have your units serial numbers.

This is what my shop said:
"David's a/c is an arinc 429 installation(with the aspens) this does not apply there is no calibration, just confirmation on functional test of antenna and rf level to capture. Which has all been done. Thank you."
