GI 275 EIS integration with IFD540

   I'm in the process of installing two GI 275 EIS units in my skymaster to replace a failing EDM 760. The 760 was connected to the 540 and provides Fuel Flow information as well as fuel remaining that the 540 uses to show fuel and flight time remaining as well as range rings which I like. The issue is the GI 275 apparently has an ethernet connection, while the IFD 540 is ARINC 429. I have found an adapter that appears to make this conversion, but I was wondering if others have solved this problem and if so how.
