What is the issue you are seeing?   There is an issue with the IFD 100 which does not allow you to see traffic or weather on FF when the IFD app is running in the background.    In the photo you posted, the IFD device is sending the flightplan and location to FF and the "Freeflight" device is sending the ADS-B traffic and weather.  In my situation, my 2nd device says "ADS-B."  When my IFD 100 app is running in the background, the ADS-B device disappears and I do not receive traffic and weather on FF anymore.  The IFD app, does, show traffic and weather, however.  If I quit the IFD 100, I show both devices again and FF will display traffic and weather.  Foreflight is aware of this and tells me they have spoken to Avidyne and Avidyne will be coming out with a fix in a future IFD 100 release.  No one at Avidyne had said this to me, however.

Hoping someone can shed some light on an issue I'm seeing in foreflight and some question regarding data passed to the app.

I have a Avidyne 550IFD and Freeflight 978-RX.  On foreflight (under devices) I see both the Avidyne connected and Freeflight (see attached).  I'm ONLY connecting to the Avidyne using Wi-Fi.   In this instance which is providing the data?  Also, is there a setting in foreflight to display FIS-B (weather) information when airbourne?

Thanks.
