Oshkosh no longer has the requirement to turn off the transponder, at least it wasn't there last year.

FYI, I read this article in AOPA and had the following question - if you accicentially cause your transponder to flip into "stdby" mode, are you still transmitting your ADS-B signal?
If not, this would seem to be a super easy way to get into serious trouble rapidly with the FAA now...
I also wonder about airshows like Oshkosh where they typically have you turn off your transponder due to traffic density in the arrivals... Thanks, Doug N208LG
