I did some research and it looks like the GPS SRC on the GTX345 needs to be 17-E. The IFD440 serves as the GPS SRC. Would someone be able to confirm this setting?

Many thanks.

this is correct

I'm seeing a very similar issue with a IFD 440 and GTX345. Were you able to get it figured out?

I was told by support that it was due to the baud rate, and having in/out both on RS232 channel 1.  I've messed around with config a bit but I haven't had a chance to fully verify the changes to see if that solves my issues.
