IFD100 issue post update

Got the following alert today on the app while trying to sync a flight plan:
"FPL xSYNC DISABLED"
I double checked that both 440 and IFD100 had same databases and the NAV, OBSTACLES and TERRAIN all match but on the IFD100 it shows:
"CHARTS UPDATE REQUIRED July 1, 2016"
When I go to the update page on the IFD100 there is no "CHARTS" listed as an option.
I'm a new IFD owner so I'm still on the free 60 day package from Jepp.

It did work and sync properly prior to the update..Any suggestions appreciated...thx

You need to update your IFD100 to the newest version.

Yellow will go away tonight

Loading new data too soon will show yellow just as having out of date data

You also have to make the Ipad with the IFD100 one 2  allowed subscribed to charts with Jepp if you have that level plan. 

There is a setup page in IFD100 with Jepp to do this.   

The charts update does not automatically appear on  IFD100 otherwise

Steve--I don't show any update for the IFD100 available, should I delete it and reload?
I'm a new customer and still on the 60 day trial--does that even include charts? (I don't see any past chart downloads on JDM)

On the app store, it's version 10.2.7.  Is that what you have installed on your iPad?

On the Aux software status page it shows s/w ver# 10.2.2.0.A.. There is no update showing as available on my App Store page. Will I lose connectivity if I delete the app and reload it?
Also, do you know if charts come with the 60 day trial?

No,  I had to do the same thing.

I deleted the app and re-loaded from App store to get to latest version

You might have to re-install  Nav data and obstacles

I searched app and it showed an update available after I queried the version history BUT it only let me update to 10.2.3.1

Thx ED, just saw your post...I'll delete it

OK--I deleted it and it reloaded 10.2.3.1

There is a note on the app store that says it is best to upgrade to 10.2.3.1 before updating to 10.2.7. I've tried deleting and reinstalling several times now and it still will only give me 10.2.3.1 even if I download the databases also. Do I need to sync it first with the 440?

If the IFD100 showed 10.2.0.0.A before and now it shows 10.2.3.1 on Aux page it should now data share with your IFD440 running 10.2.3.1

My IFD100 shows 10.2.3.1 on Aux and shares with my updated IFD540 without issue

Do I understand that you are using just an IFD440?  If so, that suggests to me that because charts aren't available on the IFD440, you don't have the IFD100 app correctly configured for the IFD440.  In other words, there should be no message concerning charts on the IFD100 app if correctly configured as an IFD440.

Good point--if you go into your IPAD settings and scroll down to the various apps, then select IFD100, you'll see just 3 items to set and the default is IFD550. I've changed it...thx for the heads up

Scrub the IFD100 from your iPad then reinstall from the apps store. As some of the data files may be removed you may have to reinstall them. Had the same issue yesterday P.S. large text is a great improvement!
