Hi,
the removed Garmin 530 showed: -cities -city name -interstates -interstate names -river names and could be perfect setup for declutter in the "setup Map" Menu. All those informations are not visible on the IFD540, except the interstates, which are visible in the US, not in Europe as with the Garmin before. Is there any error in the software or database? Both databases (Garmin&Avidyne) are coming from Jeppesen, and the data should be available. If it "works as designed" on the IFD540, pls put it on the feature list. Then anyone can answer the questions of the passengers "where are we at this moment?" as we could before on the old Garmin. Best regards guenni |
