Which is the recommended App for the 540 so I can make my flightplan in the Ipad at home and transfer it to the 540 in the plane via I pad app before flight.

Is the Avidyne app already working?

I suggest trying the apps out, most have a 30-day free trial.

IFD 100 I read there is a bug that erases all personal waypoints when connected.

Any ideas if it has been fixed?

Larry,

I like FLTPlanGo which is the mobile app for the FLTPlan.com web site.  I understand that ForeFlight works now also (but my airplane has been out of service so I haven't tried it myself).

Like you, I am waiting as others discover all of the early-adopter issues on the IFD100.  I will jump in on that app later.
