I thought I posted about this before, but my search didn't find a previous post to tag this onto.
When flying the RNAV 2 approach into IYK, the TkDist in the Destination data block is significantly short of the airport (11.4nm), which is listed as the destination. I *think* this was claimed to be an artifact of the Jepp database, but today I had the IFD100 showing the flight plan page while coming in and noticed that it was showing the correct distance to the destination (16.9nm). This approach has the missed approach significantly before the airport due to restricted airspace near the airport. It looks like the destination datablock is showing distance to the missed approach point rather than to the airport as would be expected from the destination datablock. I suggest that the destination datablock should show the actual data to the actual point identified in the block. Having the distance to the missed approach point is nice, but I would have that sequence in the next, then current datablocks as you fly the approach. I grabbed some screen shots if you need them, but they just show what I described above, but if they'd help troubleshoot in some way, I'll post them.

I haven't checked but I'd bet you find the same behavior at KTVL Lake Tahoe?? (RNAV (GPS) RWY 18)
