Hello,
is it possible like on the G530 to change manual the CDI scale from Enroute to Terminal or Approach? I have found nothing in the manual. My software version is 10.2.0.0. When I have a User Waypoint and it is labeled as an Airport, will in this case the IFD change from Enroute to Terminal scale, when I approach the waypoint ( in this case my home airbase which is a German glider airfield => User-Waypoint). CDI scaling can not be manually controlled.

It is not clear to me if the second part of his post is a statement or a question.
Will the IFD treat a user-waypoint-airport like any other destination, and auto-scale to the TERM mode?

No. The ability to designate a user waypoint as an
airport was implemented for the sole purpose of supporting the TAWS
function. That's why you have to enter a field elevation as part of the
definition.
