Flying formation yesterday. While flying wing man, you don't get to look at your instruments, or fiddle with things. As we were flying around, the terrain warning came on, and I was hard-pressed to describe to my safety pilot how to turn it off. It was extremely annoying, and very distracting.
Is there a simple way to silence the FLTA? |

See Page 4-40 in the IFD 440 Pilot Guide Note that in dual IFD installations, both units will need to be set to Off to disable the function. |
