My #1 GPS lost signal today. It took about 4 minutes to recover. The #2 was unaffected. Something I find interesting is that in the second photo below, the last two satellites shown are the Japanese MTSAT satellites that provide SBAS for Japan. They are visible in Australia, but have no useful information since there are no SBAS ground stations Down Under.

Have you had the Hardware Mods done, and what software are you running?
Mine have NOT done this (even once) since the HW mods and the software (10.1?) upgrade. Ken

Hardware mod not required as the units were new in December 2015 (and in any case the symptoms are different to those manifested by the I/O board timing issue) and running latest software.

There are at least five hardware mods related to GPS signal improvements. There is now a maintenance page where they are all listed. If you don't have all of them up to date, that could be contributing.
In any case, you should give tech support a call (or emai), and send them your logs. They will have an answer for you fairly quickly. Sergio is the point man on thes. * Orest Edited by oskrypuch - 08 Mar 2016 at 10:22pm |
